Furnishings complete the story of a home. Our Furnishings service develops a comprehensive vision for furniture, decorative lighting, rugs, art and accessories, thoughtfully considered in relation to the architecture, scale and character of each space.

Rather than furnishing a home from a single source or at a single price point, we create a layered mix of trade and locally sourced pieces, vintage finds, independent makers and thoughtfully selected production pieces. Each selection is considered for your home, lifestyle, aesthetic and overall investment, resulting in spaces that feel collected, personal and distinctly yours.

We begin with a detailed furniture plan and preliminary furnishings budget, then curate selections to create a cohesive direction for the home. At the completion of the design phase, you’ll have a clear plan, curated selections and budget for implementation.

Unlike many full-service furnishings models, JDID does not require furnishings to be purchased through our studio. Clients may purchase independently or engage JDID for purchasing, procurement and installation for an additional fee. Custom furniture design is also available as an additional service.
